About Me

Located in Burtonsville, Maryland, Tariq Amankwah is an aspirating front-end software engineer with expierience in web development. An avid user of the React framework, Tariq started his professional career through working at a non-profit organization and worked on front-end development. Through this experience, he was able to expand his knowledge about web frameworks, APIs, and making UI more accessible. During Summer 2021, he was a participant in Google's Software Product Sprint, a program aimed at college students to enable them to learn the agile software development cycle. He, along with his peers, created a web application to track and monitor COVID-19 outbreaks as well as display hot-zones in the United States. Currently, Tariq is a junior at Capitol Technology University.
